Privacy policy
This policy is short because there is little to tell: BettyGO sets no advertising or analytics cookies, loads no content from third parties while you read, and stores no IP addresses. Here is what does happen, and your rights.
BettyGO is delivered by Cloudflare Pages, which processes technical connection data to serve and protect the site. Your country is read once from a Cloudflare header to show you the matching language and Amazon store; no IP address is stored. Two functional cookies remember your language and country. The contact form sends your message to our mailbox and nothing else. Links marked with * lead to Amazon or partner shops, which set their own cookies after you click. No analytics or advertising trackers are used.

It is written under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); where the laws of your country give you further rights – the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Brazil's LGPD, Japan's APPI – they apply as well.
Hosting and server logs
The website is delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; in the EU represented by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Munich). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver it and to protect it from attacks: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system. We do not receive or store these logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with Cloudflare is in place; transfers to the USA rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Language by country
When you open bettygo.com without a language in the address, a small program on Cloudflare's edge reads the country that Cloudflare derives from your connection (the two-letter code in the CF-IPCountry header) and forwards you once to the matching language version with the Amazon store of your country. Only the country code is used; the IP address is not stored by us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing you the right language and products (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can switch language at any time in the header; the switch is remembered as described below.

These are strictly necessary for the function you requested – the right language and store – and need no consent (§ 25 (2) TDDDG in Germany; Art. 5 (3) ePrivacy Directive). No analytics, advertising or social-media cookies are set by BettyGO. If the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated submissions, Turnstile sets a technically necessary cookie on that page only (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Affiliate links to Amazon
BettyGO takes part in the Amazon Associates programmes of the Amazon stores in the USA, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil and Japan (Amazon.com Services LLC; Amazon EU S.à r.l.; Amazon Serviços de Varejo do Brasil Ltda.; Amazon Japan G.K.). Links marked with * lead to the Amazon store of your language version. Only when you click such a link do you leave this website; Amazon may then set cookies to recognise that you came from BettyGO and to credit a commission. We receive no personal data from Amazon, only anonymous statistics of clicks and purchases. Amazon's privacy notice applies on Amazon's sites.
Affiliate links to partner shops (Awin)
Links marked with * to partner shops run through the Awin network (Awin AG, Eichhornstraße 3, 10785 Berlin, Germany). When you click such a link you are forwarded through an Awin server to the shop; Awin and the shop may set a cookie or store a click identifier to recognise that you came from BettyGO and to credit a commission on a purchase. We receive no personal data, only anonymous statistics. The privacy policies of Awin and of the respective shop apply after the click. The footer of each page names the shops currently linked in this way.
Contact form and email
Through the contact form you send us your email address, your message and, if you fill them in, your name and a subject. The form is received by a Cloudflare Worker and delivered as an email to our mailbox through Cloudflare's email service; our mailbox is hosted by Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). We use your details only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed. To detect automated submissions the form checks a hidden field and the time until sending; no cookie is set for this. If you write to us by email, the same applies.
External links, fonts and media
Fonts are hosted on our own server; no Google Fonts or other third-party resources are loaded while you read. Links to manufacturers, sources and other websites lead to sites whose privacy policies apply there. We embed no videos, maps or social-media widgets.
Statistics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It works without cookies, without fingerprinting and without storing IP addresses, and gives us only aggregated figures such as which pages are read and from which country. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which guides are useful (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (ldi.nrw.de), or the authority of your own country. Residents of California: we do not sell or share personal information. Residents of the United Kingdom: the UK GDPR gives you the same rights; the Information Commissioner's Office is the supervisory authority.
Changes
We update this policy when the website changes – for example when a new partner shop is added. The current version is always the one on this page.
